CBS News | Bono Eyed For World Bank Chief? | March 6, 200517:00:01:

"Treasury Secretary John Snow on Sunday would not rule out the idea of Irish singer Bono, an activist on debt relief and AIDS, making the short list of potential candidates to lead the World Bank even though an American is expected to get the job.

'He's somebody I admire. He does a lot of good in this world of economic development,' Snow said.

'Most people know him as a rock star. He's in a way a rock star of the development world, too. He understands the give-and-take of development. He's a very pragmatic, effective and idealistic person,' Snow said. "

Council of the Wise?

Council of the Wise? - www.ezboard.com:

"While ruling the executution of a 16 year old mass murderer unduly 'cruel', the Supreme Court condemns itself for the continuing slaughter of around 40 million absoutely innocent and defenseless citizens of humanity thus far.

Obviously, this supposed council of the wise is more interested in sanctifying the ultimate of murder than preventing cruelty, all their rhetoric notwithstanding. Behind the lamb's wool garb are the blood-drenched claws and fangs of monsters.

Fortunately, the God of the Bible hasn't rescinded either the death penalty or the judgment that follows for anyone or, more to the point, any nation. This monstrous third head of the U.S. government won't escape when the dam holding back the cup of blood this nation has filled breaks, and it will. The whited sepulchre of this den of wool-clad wolves sits right at the base of the dam. They will not escape. We have God's word on it."

Governors Line Up For Oval Office

CBS News | Governors Line Up For Oval Office | March 1, 2005 14:30:04:

"...In the realm of famous Republican governors who insist they're not running - and may actually mean it - there's Arnold Schwarzenegger of California and Jeb Bush of Florida. Speaking on 'Meet the Press' Sunday, Governor Schwarzenegger stated flatly that 'my goal is not to run for president,' then seemed to back that up by refusing to answer any questions that didn't have to do with California. The Austrian-born actor also maintains he is not behind any of the efforts to amend the Constitution to allow naturalized citizens to run for president. "

Yeah, right...just like the current president was only running for governor of Texas in 1998, a year or so before throwing his hat in the ring for president and subsequently resigning the governorship mid-term. Schwarzenegger will say whatever serves his purposes, and fessing up to his already well-documented aspirations to be king of the world or at least "leader of the free world" (which will include the whole world if Bush has his way) simply doesn't serve his purposes right now and won't until the 2006 election for California governor is over.

Of course, the Bible has already determined that the antichrist will rise to power on the power of his personality cult, indicating at least a semblance of being drafted for the role by others rather than promoting himself...just as various groups are presently trying to get initiated. He already has the unqualified endorsements of notables from both extremes of the political spectrum FOR PRESIDENT, including the likes of ultra-liberal John Kerry supporter Jon Bon Jovi and supposedly ultra-conservative former President George H.W. Bush.

In other words, one needn't hear Schwarzenegger deny his presidential ambitions to know that he will (until the time is right), so the fact that he does means nothing except to cast further doubt on the integrity of his words.
